  3. Lake Turkana, Kenya, an apelike skull,
  4. estimated to be about 2.9 million years old;
  5. it had some human characteristics and a brain
  6. capacity of 800 cu cm. In 1984 his team found
  7. an almost complete skeleton of Homo erectus
